As always, thank you for taking the time to read and support my work here at SHERO and for helping to provide independent journalism for everyone.
I appreciate you.
Here is the latest playlist! Thanks so much for waiting — I had to push pause until I felt better physically and was inspired. This music will be perfect for anyone who needs to pump themselves up to do something scary, or for working out, or for just general psyching-out. It is no coincidence that I launch my first podcast at Callin today and I am very nervous and excited — I’ve been listening to this playlist all week, so I feel ready!
You can listen to Huckleberry Hype on iTunes here. Note: I typically include a Spotify playlist as well, but considering Neil Young’s brave move to pull his work off the platform in protest of the dangerous, anti-vaccination material Joe Rogan continues to publish. I am chosing to boycott the platform for now. (If you have another way to listen to complilations other than iTunes, I would reccomend just copying the list from iTunes onto that platform — you are more than welcome to use Spotify, but I won’t promote it here until things change.)
What I like most about Callin, is that I am doing a live chat show that can be posted for everyone to access later, and that my listeners are able to connect and call into the show and speak with me live. I know that I have had many questions, posed in real time, that have been difficult to answer either on Twitter or in the comments here, so this will give us the chance to really chat.
NUANCE. This is what is lacking from most platforms and what I hope to get an infusion of at my Callin podcast. I hope to have some great discussions with guests in the future — who may not always agree with me — so we can have a full, more comprehensive discussion. I am not quite sure what this show will morph into ultimately and that is exciting because anything is possible. I also really love my team that is helping to guide me through this process — a team of all women, who have a distinct viewpoint, and can’t wait to share it!
Be sure to have a listen to this playlist I have been using all week to motivate me to move through the nervous anxiety of this new undertaking. Then, download the Callin app for your iPhone or iPad here. You can sign up for a free account and then call me through the app to ask your questions, live. My first show airs today, Thursday, January 27th at 3pm/ET and 12/PT. I can’t wait to talk with you!

We all have Android phones, so I guess I won't be able to join the fun until Callin expands to the Google Play store, or something similar. *sigh* Not terribly happy about it, but I will content myself with listening as long as I'm able on the good ol' computer. Today's show was terrific, I really enjoyed the content and the discussions. You're on your way!! <3
You are going to be awesome! Wishing you the absolute best Amee!
