SHERO Fundraiser for President Biden

Happy Friday and my sincere apologies for my terrible Photoshop skills, as seen above. This article is for anyone who continues to support Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee and wants to help show their support and win a zoom call with me and some fellow SHEROS. If you do not support Biden, you can simply stop reading now and have a FANTASTIC weekend, and I thank you for being a SHERO supporter!

The last few weeks have been hell for the Biden campaign, and the Future Forward PAC — which is committed to Biden — now says that they have had $90 million in pledged donations frozen due to Biden’s refusal to drop out as the nominee. I think this is a great time to show President Biden that his grassroots support is strong and that rich donors do not get to control who gets the nomination — that is for the voters to decide.

I am continuing to support President Biden because I have seen all of the amazing things he has done for the America in the last four years and I believe he is the most qualified person to do the job. I also believe that if we bend to pressure from Democratic and Hollywood elites — who seem to think they are entitled to handpick a new candidate at the Democratic National Convention in Ohio in late August — that we will be upending the will of the voters and setting a dangerous precedent for how our nominees are selected in the future. It is important to send this message of support to Biden now, so that rich Americans do not think they can act as kingmakers within the Democratic Party.

I thought it would be fun to raise some money for Biden and for SHERO at the same time, while making sure that everyone who participates is eligible for the prize I am offering. What could be more fun than hanging out with a group of like-minded people to discuss politics, life, what-have-you, in a group zoom call. I will be offering two different kinds of zoom experiences: you can chose to do a SHERO HAPPY HOUR with some wine or a drink of your choosing, or you can decide to do the SHERO COFFEE CLATCH where we will have coffee and some fierce conversation.

I will be doing the zoom calls in small groups so that we can really have a great time and some fun conversation. I might be holding zoom calls until October, depending on how many of you dig this idea, but I think it is well worth it and will be SO MUCH FUN. I am also open to the idea of group parties if you already have a collection of friends that you want on your zoom chat. I promise interesting conversation, to answer all questions and a super fun time.

Here’s the deal:

• If you are already a paid SHERO subscriber, simply make a donation to our Biden/SHERO fundraiser on ACT Blue here for at least $100. You will get a spot in a zoom call and your choice of the happy hour or coffee klatch. You can make a donation for any amount you like, and I will randomly pick 5 people from those donations to get the zoom prize, but $100 will guarantee you a zoom.

• The other way to get a guaranteed zoom party call is to get your paid subscription to SHERO here now and then make a $35 donation to the Act Blue campaign for Biden here.

I will keep track of all of these donations and subscriptions and I will email the winners in a few weeks with some dates and options.
