  • Last month, the head of Belgium’s diamond industry presented Donald Trump with a gift: a specially made 18-karat gold ring worth an estimated $25,000, celebrating Trump’s two terms in office. Four weeks later, his administration approved a tariff exemption worth billions of dollars to Belgium’s diamond industry.

  • An Iranian assassination threat against Donald Trump prompted an extraordinary operation last month in which Trump flew secretly from Turkey on an alternate military aircraft. At the same time, the White House said he was aboard Air Force One, and the crew and staff continued, still at risk.

  • The Florida-based beef company, Corte Argentino USA LLC, recalled over 29,600 pounds of raw beef imported from Argentina this week that were delivered into Florida and Texas without a follow-up inspection after arriving in the US, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
