  • Three federal immigration agents accidentally shot themselves in the leg during routine training exercises within two days last year. A fourth incident involved an accidental taser discharge inside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office.

  • Months before Renee Good’s killing at the hands of an immigration agent in Minneapolis set off nationwide protests, a federal officer shot and killed another American citizen in his car in South Texas, according to internal reports made public this week.

  • Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer’s husband has been barred from the agency’s headquarters this week after security staffers who work at the Department of Labor received a message in late January instructing them not to allow Shawn DeRemer to enter the building, after at least two female employees alleged that he acted improperly toward them.
