Gun Violence This Week

There were three separate mass shooting incidents in the United States this past week, where four people were killed and 17 were injured. Here at SHERO, we document all mass shooting incidents for the week every Sunday, so please take a moment to review them and remember to keep up the fight for sensible gun reform.

• The DNC is looking for volunteers to phone bank in a virtual event running until Saturday, October 26th to reach out to voters who have been purged from the voter rolls, and encourage them to re-register. For more information click here.

• According to a Securities Election Committee (SEC) regulatory filing, the chief operating officer of Truth Social’s parent company resigned late last month, and now the social media company must hand over almost 800,000 shares to one of its investors as part of a court ruling.

• A review with two former Trump administration officials this week has shown that Donald Trump was flagrantly partisan with disasters, and on at least three occasions hesitated to give disaster aid to areas he considered politically hostile, or ordered special treatment for pro-Trump states.
