Trump Fakes Union Crowd
Donald Trump attempted to keep up with President Biden's strong pro-union campaign stops this week, by staging his own rally at a corporate sponsored event where his supporters held "union" signs.
Donald Trump made a campaign stop in suburban Detroit Wednesday evening, to rally against electric vehicles, claiming they're too expensive, aren't capable of traveling very far and would spur job losses that would equal disaster for Americans. In what appeared to be a union-supported event, but was actually a highly produced snippet of political maneuvering, much like a reality TV show, Trump addressed people in the crowd who purported to be union workers.
"You can be loyal to American labor or you can be loyal to the environmental lunatics," Trump said, "but you can’t really be loyal to both — it’s one or the other." Let’s watch a portion of that speech now:
