What Happened Was...
A lightning fast recap of the week's biggest events for November 14th - 20th, 2022
Below is a catch-up of the significant events of this past week. You can check in with a minimal time commitment, read about the big stuff, and stay in the know before we’re on to the next. If you want more information on the past week's events, you might want to scroll through my Twitter feed for more detail on other topics I don’t mention below. Twitter was a mess this week, but I have been and will keep posting on the platform until at least the new year, baring any major catastrophes.
I have set up accounts with the handle @girlsreallyrule at Counter Social and Tribel and I am working on confirming my account at Mastodon. I am still posting full time on Twitter, but I will also be posting all of my SHERO newsletter articles on all three of these platforms. The consensus from most people who are leaving Twitter permanently is to head over to Mastodon, but the platform can be a little complicated to figure out in the beginning. I suggest you check out all three and get familiar with them all now.
Gun Violence This Week
There were six separate mass shooting incidents in the US last week, where 14 people were killed and 37 were injured. I document all mass shooting incidents for the week every Sunday, so please take a moment to review them and remember to keep up the fight for sensible gun reform.
