Gun Violence This Week

There were four separate mass shooting incidents in the US last week, where one person was killed and 21 were injured. I document all mass shooting incidents for the week every Sunday, so please take a moment to review them and remember to keep up the fight for sensible gun reform.

• This week dozens of Iranian artists called for an international boycott of cultural institutions run by or affiliated with the Islamic Republic in protest against the regime’s worsening human rights abuses, following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.

• Former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway met with investigators from the House January 6 Committee on Monday, likely one of the committee’s final high-profile interviews, as it wraps up its work and prepares to soon issue a report on its findings.
