Where Things Stand in the House

Welcome to the eve of January 6, 2023, the two year anniversary of an unprecedented attack on the US Capitol Complex that was encouraged, fueled and incited by the outgoing President of the United States. Just like in 2021, the House of Representatives is embroiled in chaos, with many of the same players continuing to hold it hostage, albeit under far different circumstances. 

This time, Gaetz, Boebert, Roy, Biggs, et. al, are using the power of parliamentary procedure rather than the brute force of ignorant, enraged followers who are willing to do anything to defend Donald Trump’s lies. This time, QAnon Congress is attacking from the front, and making their threats directly to many of the people they endangered just three years ago.
