My heart is broken, I'm scared and I mean, for the first time in my 60 yrs, I am scared out of my mind. I hope that all of our efforts to save our country will not be in vain. I have no more words, just vote.

I am believing in a landslide like there has never been one! Voting is our only saving grace.

I sadly fear that we will remember 2020 as the year that democracy finally died in this country, not with a bang (though I fully expect violence resulting in death around the time of and subsequent to the election), but with a whimper. When I moved to the US in the early 1990s, I never in a million years envisioned such a situation.

That was a scary read. Every day seems to bring more bad news, more corrupt behavior, and less hope. We are truly burning and it very well could be the end...I would have laughed at myself for saying this maybe even six months ago.

I'm 66, and I remember watching JFK's funeral procession with my Mother. I don't believe I've ever seen this country so openly and nakedly divided and hateful as it is today. My heart says that the people of goodwill outnumber the haters by a substantial margin - and because of that, we will have a Biden landslide on 11/3. My head says that none of this is predictable even now and we still haven't seen the full extent of the indignities to which our democracy will be subjected by the Orange Orangutan (apologies to simians everywhere).

I will most likely lead with my heart - as I so often do - right up until the moment when I get up on 11/4 and find out the overnight results. Our entire family is evaluating our skill sets to see if perhaps we might be considered for emigration to Canada if necessary. Helps to keep options open!
