Good morning! I just wanted to take a quick moment to keep you updated on my plans to continue developing and growing my SHERO newsletter as we head into our fourth year here on Substack.
This Fall will be a pivotal turning point in our fight to protect democracy, and SHERO will provide critical coverage of the key aspects of these next Midterm elections. The January 6 Special Committee will resume hearings in September, and the need to keep the pressure on Attorney General Merrick Garland to pursue charges against Trump and his co-conspirators will be more important than ever. SHERO will be at the center of that cause.
We are facing yet another reckoning in the United States, and the first indication of how that struggle is faring will be apparent after the 2022 Midterm Elections. The battle to save the US Supreme Court, and to reverse certain recent rulings that have rolled back our human rights, is inherently tied to the voice of the electorate and what we choose to do with our votes. The next two years leading up to the 2024 Election will continue to be pivotal, and I intend to keep utilizing this SHERO platform to fight the ongoing and systematic attacks on the women of this country.
I want to thank you for taking the time to subscribe to SHERO, and for reading my work and sending it out in email or across social media for others to read. None of this would work without you, and I am so grateful you are here with me. I am able to continue to provide the public with a lot of my work for free and this is thanks to paid SHERO subscriptions from supporters like you. These paid subscriptions support me and help to provide independent activist journalism to the public, and that is a wonderful thing — thank you.

Please take a moment and consider signing up for a paid subscription to SHERO today. You will get all-inclusive access to my exclusive posts several times a week, that include my Sunday Recaps. These comprehensive reviews give you a quick run-down of all of the events of the week, with more, non-paywall links to other sources for more details on each topic. This is a great resource to help keep you in the know, even when you get busy and are not as active on social media. As we move into election season, you will also get access to my electoral primers, which will give you quick breakdowns and lists of information on candidates and elections for 2022 and 2024.
If you are not able to afford a subscription right now, I completely understand. This is the reason I make so many of my articles free, and you are helping to do your part by reading and disseminating SHERO — thank you! If you would rather make a tribute to my newsletter now instead of subscribing at this time, you can do that through the button below.
The Supreme Court gutted Miranda protections in the same week that they eviscerated the fundamental rights of women. This is no coincidence — it is a planned and systematic attack on civil liberties that is coordinated and ongoing. It’s time to wake up now and SHERO is the perfect tool to help get people get involved, and stay involved. Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. We have a lot of work to do.

Paid subscriptions and one-time tributes embedded in each article allow me to keep publishing critical and informative work that is sometimes made available to the public — thank you. If you like this piece and want to support independent journalism further, you can forward this article to others, get a paid subscription or gift subscription, or donate once, as much as you like today.
Glad to be a paid subscriber! Please keep up the great work!
I never leave home without my Shero
