Former President Donald Trump was charged on Thursday with 37 felony counts in a US District Court in Miami, stemming from the investigation into classified information that he retained at his Florida estate and other locations after he left office. How can it be possible that the citizens of this country will watch this lout walk away without spending one day in prison with an indictment of 37 counts, 31 for espionage
All because there is no legal precedent????

I've seen other legal minds opine that Cannon's involvement could throw a wrench into the entire affair, so I'm glad to see that there is the possibility of her being removed without having to depend on her recusal. Judge Cannon won’t voluntarily recuse herself. The 11th Circuit DCA will have to get involved.
Also, I am incredibly fearful that the Congressional Republicans, Fox News and the Orange Asscactus himself are going to get his brainwashed supporters so out of control that we are all but certain to see violence, if not on Tuesday then at some point thereafter.
It’s so frustrating to think that Trump won’t lose anything. It would seem that laws need to be created, once Democrats win back the House, and hold onto the Senate and win the Presidency and the moon turns red on a Saturday, to take care of removing SS protection if an ex-President commits espionage or similar serious crimes. Trump never being punished is the worst thing that can happen - he will be above the law.
