Many of the physicians I follow on Twitter are decrying Judge Mizelle's apparently appalling lack of knowledge about both the laws in question and about basic medical knowledge. It sounds as if she is not only "unqualified" (per the American Bar Association in 2020) but also incompetent in her knowledge. (This is not too surprising, since she wasn't "ripe" enough when she was Peter Principled onto the bench by an incompetent president.)

Excellent use of the Peter Principle!

Well, score another victory for the "free-dumb" forces in this country. Let's play this out: How long before someone uses Judge Mizelle's "logic" to argue that smoking bans on airplanes are also illegal? It's going to happen, and if the courts are consistent, they will have to strike down those regulations as well. Given my asthma, that will effectively mean that I can no longer fly because a mask isn't going to protect me against the carcinogens that cigarette smoke carries.

Don’t give the peerless in vacuous idiocy party any ideas Ian, or you’ll be wearing a carbon fiber-filtered mask, with accompanying hazmat suit on your next flight…yikes!

It’s comforting to know how little value the Federal Judiciary and The Supreme Court place on human life that’s actually born.

They’ll spend any amount to save the unborn, but a 40¢ mask is the breaking point for the actual living.

I wish this was even remotely surprising.

Yeah there are so many things wrong with this. Non-qualified justices appointed by a fraudulent president, a supreme court justice full of corruption and overt ideological decisions, judges handing down rulings that affect us all on the basis of partisan pandering. We're in a giant hole and unlikely to get out any time soon. Sadly the Democrats will do nothing to reign in the judiciary, reform the high court, impeach corrupt judges or even make an attempt to level the playing field. Democrats may not like the social rulings of the conservative judges but they do seem to love their fondness for the rich and entitled. Democrats and Republicans are two sides of the same bad penny.
