I also apologize for any mistakes or errors-I did not use my editor today. I do not deserve one.

Dorsey is dead to me. I was suspended from Twitter in May for posting that the Sociopath in chief was projecting when he called Scarborough a murderer, Biden a traitor, Pelosi an addict, Hillary a skank and Stacy Abrams a whale. All in one distasteful Twitter-barfing weekend. I offered that he should be investigated for all of it.

I gave up after 30 separate requests for an appeal. Their response: delete it. My answer, I will not hide my truth in service of Dorsey’s tea-sipping in the Oval.

Many of my 14k followers found me and we continue private communications. I found the ones who most matter to me on their own blogs and websites.

I will support regulation of Twitter and a rethinking of the protections afforded it. I was censored for political speech. And the truth. F Jack.

I have been meaning to subscribe and today is the day. I am so sorry that twitter has treated you so badly, Amee. They are the ones who should be ashamed, not you, especially when they won't even tell you what you did wrong or allow any kind of conversation to correct the so-called error. Hang in there. You are loved.

they are getting out of hand. i was suspended; then they would not send me the code to reset my account. over and over I tried. no luck. so I set up a new account; they tossed that one without as much as a reason. so I am off twitter and have been for about 3 weeks. I am torn between fussing about censorship & not giving a fuck. FYI - from other female users, 'this is not unusual especially if you have female moniker'. good luck.

When I couldn't find you yesterday, I was worried something like this happened. Today I saw the "suspended" notice, so I came here to Shero to see what was up. Thanks for sharing, and I'm sorry that someone of your integrity is going through this. We'll be waiting for your return!

I feel your pain regarding the unjust suspension. I was suspended last February for a reply to an article about Jefferson Davis. I said that we wouldn't have the problems we have today had the US done the right thing and executed the Confederate leadership in 1865. Someone reported me for threatening harm to others and I was suspended for a week.

lol... I feel you. I've been suspended a few times. Only one of which I know the reason for. (I reported the account of an elected official as fake, because he was spouting obvious falsehoods)

My heart hurt for you reading this newsletter, Amee, and for all of us who were humiliated/shamed by the actions of a respected adult during our elementary school years. My first such experience was in kindergarten. The teacher wanted the class to make a perfect circle while standing, holding hands on the playground. Someone near me (likely, some boy) pulled us out of alignment and maybe I smiled or grimaced. All I remember is Miss Hespe storming over to me-the tallest, gawkiest person in the class-and shaking me until my teeth rattled. I was shocked and mortified! Like you, my dad was once the county prosecutor and my mom had been an English teacher. It was 1960. I was shy, well-behaved and respectful of adults. The kids all laughed when she shook me and I struggled to hide tears of shame and confusion. Thinking of this still brings up many emotions 60 years later. So I feel your pain. The good news is the story of your childhood shame that resurfaced because of a stupid, twitter ban prompted me to become a paid subscriber to your excellent newsletter. Thanks for sharing yourself with us.
