The national attention span is less than 7 seconds long, about the length of a long sound bite. Ditto the concentration and focus of national journalists covering DC. The rhythm of constant chaos and covering multiple dumpster fires at once which they had to adopt when covering EX needs to be refined to a slower, more measured and more thoughtful analysis. Think pieces not breathless and reactionary. More Fareed. Less Hannity. Lose the attitude and chips on shoulders.

Biden hasn’t achieved world peace and conquered world hunger yet, WTF is he waiting for.

I focused in on your comments concerning the media and upping their game. How can citizens help nudge the media in the right direction?

They get daily press briefings. This was definitely a missed opportunity to ask him policy implementation specifics. The Are You Going to Run Again nonsense is a very trumpy throwback to the guy who filed for 2020 on Jan 20 2016 and the media needs to reprogram its collective brain to stop expecting Joe to be like double-impeached guy. I mean, are they sad he’s not golfing every week?

This was a very incisive and useful analysis of the situation. Journalists need to up their game. I said almost exactly the same thing in a tweet that got me the most likes I've ever received on Twitter--not that many by most standards, but gosh! I could see that lots of folks are just as upset as I am with the press and how they are NOT doing us any good in this formal press conference or the WH Press Conferences run by Press Secretary Jen Psaki. I hope those journalists get their footing again soon, but in the meantime, and most of the time, for me, independent journalists like you are how I get my news. THANK YOU for all that you do.
