Every freedom conscious American should be outraged by this slanted SC decision.

America has two major political parties: the Democratic Party that believes in democracy and the Nazi Party that believes in fascism, insurrection, bigotry, racism, white supremacy and treason. Why are Nazis called "*republicans*"? The Nazis do not believe in a republic. Why are Nazis referred to as "*conservatives*"? Fascists are not "conservatives".

I agree to a point, because the Roe decision was in my view not even close to the "end game" for this reactionary Court. The goal will be to establish permanent conservative hegemony over the country, INCLUDING in the "Blue States". We WILL see a national ban on abortion as soon as the Republicans can get one passed, and then we WILL see this Supreme Court find a way to justify it. We WILL see every type of voter suppression law get blessed by the Court. We WILL see pretty much every type of environmental regulation get struck down if/when they are challenged.

I have been called the eternal pessimist. Maybe I am. But, I've been pretty much bang-on right when it comes to the Supreme Court.

Let's never forget, three of those SC justices were appointed by a Putin-backed traitor and terrorist. Fact.

Republicans are just fine with that if it gives them control over the country.

Sad but true, they don't care, and ex-KGB officer Putin knew that when he chose to hijack that party.

Totally agree. The endgame as it were is to just keep imposing a shrinking minority's will on the majority.

Great article. No joke, the GOP played a very long game to take over the courts, knowing that is where true power is vested. Democrats stood by and let it happen. It's a shame and I'm speechless watching this court make no qualms about their mission and their intention to turn the country into a christian nationalist fascist oligarchy. But just once I would like to see elected democrats remind the American people that A. the high court operates beyond its mandate given by the constitution, starting with Marbury in 1803. That's when the court decided for itself that it had the authority for judicial review. All those wingnuts that scream "CONSTITUTION" should take a look. B. the court's opinions are merely that, opinions, they have no enforcement mechanism and C. why do we allow 9 unelected people to decide how the rest of us 331 million people get to live? These clowns get free healthcare, a pension, a lifetime job with a solid wage, and now armed protection from us, the rabble.

Just once I would love to see an FDR democrat take aim at the high court and remind people that we the people hold the power, not the 9 mullahs in black robes. Maybe then they wouldn't feel so isolated in their bubble and beyond reproach.
