I'm a huge fan of this video list! "Love is a Battlefield" was the best! I was a big U2 fan and loved them so much. My Dad took me to the MTV Music Awards in 85. It was the highlight of my teenage years. Bob Henley's "Boys of Summer" was the top song on my playlist back then.
Good heavens, this brings me back to high school marching band trips in the yellow 🚌 singing along with U2’s “Where the Streets Have No Name” pretending to be Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen Jr., or Adam Clayton depending on if the vocals, lead guitar, drums, or bass, respectively were being featured. This was usually followed by a disciplinary warning by a goody two shoes chaperone telling us there is no air guitar playing in the central bus 🚌 aisle. Albeit, we usually continued the tomfoolery on the sly in the bus’s rear.
Good list. I was a bit older, and every bit as enthralled by MTV. Back then, we often had no idea what these people looked like. And here the were performing! (or pretending to)

I was a 20something clubber, in the 80s! These videos bring back so many memories!!! I was one of the people that suggested "Take on Me"! Memories!!!💃
Great collection. Worthy of hours of obsession.
