The EMOnly Way Out
A playlist for anyone who is going through it and wants to lean all the way into the struggle.
As promised, here is the latest playlist — but know that it might not be for everybody or a good fit for you right now. If you want something mellow and moody to just have on in the background, or if you want to completely embrace the breakdown, this is for you. It feels like a break-up playlist, and I’m pretty sure that’s because I felt like I was going through a break-up for two months…WITH TWITTER. But now Twitter and I are back together and stronger than ever. I feel like we’ve both grown, and we have a real shot of making it this time, so raise a glass to us (or just me) for prevailing in my epic fight with the man.
You can listen to The EMOnly Way Out on iTunes here or Spotify here.
Fair warning: DO NOT take this playlist with alcohol or other medications, as side effects could include excessive crying, increased melancholy and episodes involving bad decisions, and possibly texts you don’t remember and regret. If you could use some cheering up, you might want to check out some of my other playlists that are more celebratory.
Happy Mother’s Day to all! See you next week. 💋
