In the end we are either focused on surviving pandemic and this insane election suppression onslaught to vote this kleptocratic lot out of the White House, thereby reclaiming the mantel of hard and perpetual work of governing and democracy — or we are condemned to a life of palace intrigue, betrayal and debauchery.

Covid is a ploy, a deflection from the 207,000+ American deaths from Covid on HIS WATCH, a deflection from his Federal Tax Crimes reported by the NYT; a delfection from his ex campaign manager who was released from involuntary hospitalization for fear of self harm and now his family fears he will spill the bean on campaign finance crimes....a deflection from the Melania tapes.... HE IS A CON... can't help thinking his COVID is a con... don't trust a thing that comes from them.

Instead of talking about testing I guess we could talk about how 40,000 people a day can get hospital care and preventative treatments that Trump and Christie and numerous Senators will get. While trying to eliminate the ACA for staff, Press, and a myriad of frontline workers that keep the White House running.
I know that I'm a "glass is half empty" person, but am I the only one who can see him getting a mild case, recovering, and then becoming even more of a hero in the eyes of a his brainwashed cult members? Ironically, this might INCREASE his chances of getting re-elected.

I don't think people who aren't going to vote for him now will change their minds because he was so casual about a pandemic that he caught it. He might get a Jesus-saved-me bump - you KNOW he'll say that if he doesn't get sick or recovers - but that's not going to translate into votes, not now, not ever.
Trump’s supposedly having tested positive for Covid-19 is highly suspect, given his propensity for hijacking the news cycle. Now the focus is off this week’s PILE of should-be scandals and his shitshow performance during the “debate.” And he has an out for future debates. It is a play for sympathy and—literally—trumped up patriotism.
Okay, honestly when I first heard the news about them testing positive for Covid, my gut instinct was that it is just another Putin play news distraction to instantly move away from the debate horror & the cold Melania tapes(and the 750 taxes, SCOTUS pick,Woodward tapes, military suckers and losers, & on & on & on). We will just have to wait and see what transpires. I know we all are exhausted, at least I am, from being bombarded with one thing on top of the next from this criminal swamp administration.
All we can do is vote. Vote and rebuild the country that we love into a true, respectable nation, better than it has ever been. Wishing you Amee,& everyone a good day. Stay safe & be well☺️

Contracting COVID is not just bad for Trump medically at his age, it is disterous for him politically from showing his strength, holing rallies and the ol' "Karma bit you in the butt." standpoint.
